What Game Was Really Doing On Friday…

As we’ve already reported, Game got into some trouble last Friday when a tweet made from his phone advertising an internship caused hundreds of fans to unwittingly ring up the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, overwhelming its call system. We can vouch for Game though, because he was hanging out with us when all of that went down. If you don’t believe us we’ve posted a transcript and video of the interview as evidence, which you can consider them examples A and B. Case closed.
What would you do if you could hijack Myspace for a day?

If I could hijack Myspace I would probably sell it and get my money. What’s Myspace worth, $100 million? I need that and then I’d go to Dubai and put it all on one on crap roll. I’d probably win. You know the odds of that? It’s crazy, you’ve got to turn it into a billion.

If you could do a secret show anywhere in the world where would it take place?
.
I would probably do it somewhere in the jungle; in the middle of the Congo with a war going on, that would be crazy. Bullets flying everywhere, fans getting hit, I mean you know, hey, that’s how it is, man. Do a couple shows and you might catch a bullet.

If you could get close to any artist dead or alive who would that be?
.
I would have loved to get close to Amy Winehouse. I would have liked to have been with her the last month of her life, just chilling and hanging out. I think I could have changed the outcome of that. I appreciate her and her music—and this is the first time I’m even saying anything about it—but I think Amy Winehouse was a really dope artist. To me she was classic.

What was your first concert?
.
My dad took me to the Coliseum and we saw L.A. Dream Team and I thought that was crazy. My dad had a ‘fro I had to pat down just to see [the stage] and I remember his outfit: He had on these Levis and they were cut and his whole thigh was out, striped tube socks that were green-and-yellow, some Diadoras and a fishnet Jamaican wifebeater. [Laughs.]

What’s the last great concert you went to?
.
A concert that featured myself, Snoop Dogg, Keri Hilson, Bow Wow, Busta Rhymes, Nelly, T-Pain, New Boyz and Taio Cruz. We were on the tour in Australia and that was first time I ever felt like hip-hop was what it’s supposed to be. It felt like hip-hop was a school and we took a class trip and I had a blast.

What’s in your playlist?

[Tyler, The Creator's] Goblin, Notorious B.I.G.’s Greatest Hits, my last mixtape. Oh I also have [a compilation album] that has a bunch of Marvin Gaye and Temptations songs [on it] and I keep [Nas'] Illmatic in the chamber. I don’t take it out, so my five-disc changer is really only four.

Who is your favorite artist and what is your favorite song?

My favorite artist is myself and my favorite song is probably “Dreams.”

You just put out a mixtape called Candy Coronas with DJ Skee. Is that album any indication of what The Red Album will sound like?
.
That ain’t shit like The Red Album. What happened is one day I was at home and i had no groceries, but you now how when you’re hungry you keep going back to the refrigerator as if something is going to appear in there but nothing ever does? I had one Corona and a bottle of Grenadine so I dumped out some of the Corona, put in some grenadine, shook it up and I created a masterpiece. Then we reached out to Corona and they thought it was a dope idea so we partnered up and now everyone’s walking around drinking Coronas.
